Why the numbers are easy to trust

Most concrete tools give one number and hide the assumptions inside it. YardPour shows its work.

Visible formulas

Each tool prints the formula and a worked example in plain text, so you can check the math with a pencil.

Net vs order

Waste starts at 0%. Pick 5% or 10% and both numbers stay on screen, so you know what is geometry and what is margin.

Editable bag yields

Default yields come from a widely cited manufacturer data sheet. If your bag says something different, type it in.

Your prices only

We never publish a "national average" price. The cost tool multiplies the quote you got, plus the fees you were told.

What is a "yard" of concrete?

A yard of concrete is one cubic yard: a cube 3 ft long, 3 ft wide, and 3 ft tall. That is 27 cubic feet. When a supplier says "5 yards," they mean 5 cubic yards.

One cubic yard covers about 81 square feet at 4 inches thick, because 27 ÷ (4 ÷ 12) = 81. At 6 inches it covers 54 square feet.
